Mary Van Skiver Dies At Home of Parents
Mary Katherine Van Skiver, 24, died at 3 o'clock this morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Van Skiver, 1505 Clarendon avenue. She had been ill for about a year, her condition becoming serious abut two months ago.
Miss Van Skiver was born Aug. 3, 1911, in Logansport, the family moving to Niles about 14 years ago. She attended Niles high school and afterward was a saleswoman in the Montgomery Ward store.
Funeral services will be in the family home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Charles Kitterer reading the Christian Science service. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

Niles News In Brief: VAN SKIVER FUNERAL
Funeral services for Mary Katherine Van Skiver were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the family home, 1505 Clarendon avenue. Charles Kitterer read the Christian Science service and burial was in Silverbrook cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Meyer, Peter Krajci, Vern Wilkins, Fred Gifford, Roy Bachman and Robert Bachman.
