Mrs. Nellie Cox Succumbs After Week's Illness

Mrs. Nellie Cox, 30 South Barrett street, died Monday morning at 1:00 o'clock, following a week's illness.

Mrs. Cox had lived in Niles for the last 20 years, coming here from her former home in Kansas City, No. She was born in Wabash, Ind. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Kathleen Cox, secretary to H.G. Shannon, of the Michigan Bell Telephone company.

Three sisters also survive: Mrs. Alice Mell, 30 South Barrett street, with whom Mrs. Cox had been living for several years; Mrs. H.E. Sauer, Girard, Kansas, and Mrs. K.C. Helm, Wilmington, Kansas.

Mrs. Cox was a member of the Fist Church of Christ Scientist.

Arrangements for the funeral services have not been completed.

COX SERVICES TODAY

The Christian Science service was read by Charles Kitterer at the rites for Mrs. Nellie Cox, at the home, 30 South Barrett street, this afternoon. Burial was in Silverbrook cemetery. Relatives called here by Mrs. Cox death were Mr. and Mrs. George W. Cox and daughter, Elsie and son Kermit, Hoopeston, Ill., and Miss Nannie C. Cox, Kankakee, Ill.  Pallbearers were Durlin N. Wheeler, Hartman Bachman, W.L. Shafer, W.C. Whitcher, H.O. Parker, and Henry R. Hill
