OLD RESIDENT DIES
Charles F. Wernicke, 73, 23 Market street, died at his home after an illness of seven months.
Mr. Wernicke was born in Brandenburg, Germany, May 13, 1861. He came to Niles 18 years ago, and had been employed by the Kawneer company for 13 years.
He leaves his widow, Amelia, one son Robert, Elkhart; and for daughter, Mrs. Rose Lee, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Harold Erickson and Mrs. Roy Park, Niles, and Elsie, at home. He also is survived by seven grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held at the Rutherford funeral home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Theo Eisen officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
