Mrs. Herman Mutz Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Louise Mutz, 68, wife of Herman Mutz, died suddenly this morning at [illegible] o'clock at her home, 904 Sycamore street, after suffering for a few minutes with a heart attack. About 15 minutes before her death Mrs. Mutz arose on account of a feeling of suffocation, walked about for a short time and, then sinking in a chair, she died almost immediately.
Mrs. Mutz, as was also her husband, was born in Germany in 1846. She was married to Mr. Mutz there. About 10 years ago they moved to Niles and had since resided here continuously , and in the same neighborhood in which her death occurred. Of the seven children born to Mr. and Mrs. Mutz, four survive their mother. They are August Mutz, Niles; Mrs. William Fedore, Niles; Rudolph Mutz, Sturgis; and Mrs. George Foss, Niles. Beside the husband and children, 11 grandchildren survive.
Mrs. Mutz was well known in the city and was highly respected and her sudden death comes as a shock to many friends.
The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at St. John's church. Rev. P.G. Saffran will officiate. Burial will be in Silver Brook cemetery.
