Mrs. Edith A. Hartmann, 81, of 728 Grant St., died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday in Pawating Hospital, where she had been a patient one week.
Mrs. Hartmann was born June 23, 1882, in Libertyville, Ill. She came to Niles from that city 60 years ago.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fred Eaton and Miss Bernice Hartmann, both of Niles, and Mrs. Louis Culp, Marion, Iowa; a brother, William Fick, Westboro, Wisc.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Pifer Funeral Home. The Rev. John MacLachlan, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Cremation will follow.
Friends are being received at the funeral home.
