William Wagner, Ill 3 Months, Taken by Death
Ill for three months, William Wagner, a retired farmer and a resident of Niles for the last 12 years, died this morning in the Berrien county hospital. He was 74 years old.
Mr. Wagner was born in Armstrong county, Pa., Sept 26, 1864. He came to Niles from Ohio, and prior to entering the hospital had made his home at 1107 Oak street.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Roy Lamoneca, Niles; two sons, Carl, Niles, and Jake, Guthrie, Okla.; a brother, Jacob, Niles, and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Wagner died 15 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Rutherford funeral home with the Rev. Theodore Laesch of St. Paul's Lutheran church, of which Mr. Wagner was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
