Thomas R. Willard

The remains of Thomas R. Willard arrived by express from New York, Wednesday last, and the burial will take place from Trinity Church at 4 o'clock, P.M., next Sunday. Mr. Willard was a young man formerly of this city, but for a number of years his residence has been Washington, D.C. He was the son of Orson R. Willard. His death took place in Las Angelos, Cal., on Jan. 7th, where he had gone for the restoration of his health. The remains were accompanied by an uncle, Dr. Rufus Willard, of Oregon, and Mrs.and Mrs. Langford, of Washington, D.C. Mrs. Langford is a sister of the deceased. The deceased was a young man of promise, and at the time of his death was nearly twenty-five years of age. Silver Brook Cemetery will be the place of burial, after the services at the church. The relatives have the sympathy of the public and many friends and acquaintenances.
