PETER RABIN[SIC], 54, STRICKEN IN HOME
Peter Babin, 54, a resident of Niles 10 years, died this morning at 4 in his home, 235 Pokagon street, after a day's illness of heart trouble.
Born in Three Rivers, Quebec, April 21, 1888, Mr. Babin came to Niles from Muskegon. He was employed as a welder by the Tyler Fixture corporation.
Surviving with his widow, Mrs. Mable Babin, are a stepson, Eugene Mason, Niles; a granddaughter, Gene Babin, at home; and three brothers and a sister, William, Alfred and Joseph Babin, and Mrs. Isabelle Dufour, all living in Canada.
Friends may call at the Reutherford funeral home where the service will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30. The Rev. George Horst will officiate with burial in Silverbrook cemetery. Mr. Babin was a member of the Niles Eagles lodge.
