Lillie A. Kompass, 88, 311 North Fourth street, died early today at Pawating Hospital after an illness of 12 days.
She was born in Buchanan Sept. 3, 1864, and lived in Niles since 1895. She was the last member of the pioneer Orlando L. Bunker family of Buchanan.
Mrs. Kompass married her husband, Rudolph, in 1895 in Buchanan.
She was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary here, and was a member of the St. Agnes Guild of the Episcopal Church.
In addition to her husband, surviving are: one son, Frederick B. Kompass, Niles, and two granddaughters.
Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rev. John Carlton will officiate. Burial will be in the Family mausoleum in Silverbrook Cemetery.
