Mrs. Mary Burt, Octogenarian, Dies on Sunday
Mrs. Mary Burt, 84, died Sunday at 2:50 a.m. in her home at 530 Huron street, after an illness of two weeks.
Her husband, Mason Burt, died in [illegible].
She was born Oct. 22, 1861, in Chattanooga, Tenn.,and had lived in Niles for two years.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Paul Aston, 525 Superior street; Mrs. Ida Starks and Mrs. Amanda Lomax, both of Los Angeles, Cal.; three sons, Sidney Burt, Niles; Elijah Burt, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Charles Burt, Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Stringer, and Mrs. Amanda Brooks, both of Chattanooga; and one brother, Robert Clemerson, of Arkansas.
Services will be conducted from the Second Baptist church, Wednesday at 2 p.m .with the Rev. Richard Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery. Friends may call at the Kiger funeral home.
