Mrs. Minnie E. Laukus, 2264 North Fifth street, died at 2 a.m. Sunday in her home. She had been in poor health for some time . .[illegible].
Surviving are two sons, Irwin, San Gabriel, Calif., and Harry, of Edwardsburg; four daughters, Mrs. William Jeschke of Niles, Mrs. Sam Herman of Benton Harbor, Miss Dorothy Laukus at home, and Mrs. Robert Kachur of Niles; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Gust Froelich of Sodus, Mrs. Emil Michael of Benton Harbor, and Mrs. Lydia Simmons of Benotn Hrbor.
Mrs. Laukus was born on July 4, 1881, in Germany, and had lived in the Niles area for many years.
Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home until noon Wednesday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, with the pastor, the Rev. H.A. Meussling, presiding. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
