NILES--Miss Marion B. Walker, 49, of 1900 Randalia Drive, Fort Wayne, Ind., died at 9:45 a.m Wednesday at St. Anne Nursing Home in Fort Wayne.
She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, a graduate of Niles high School and the Michigan State University. Miss Walker was a social worker for the State of Indiana and was very active on behalf of handicapped both in Michigan and Indiana.
She was born Oct. 6, 1928 in Niles, and had lived in Fort Wayne since 1967.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Leland (Beatrice F.) Walker of Niles; 19 nieces and nephews in the area; five grand-nieces and nephews in the area; two brothers, Charles N. Walker of Framingham, Mass., and John C. Walker of Racine, Wis.; and three sisters, Mrs. Walter B. Laetz of St. Joseph, Mrs. Arthur Russell of Albuquerque, N.M. , and Mrs. Charlotte Cloft of Grand Ledge.
Funeral services will be at 11 am. Saturday at the Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Vincent J. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Halbritter Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the National Paraplegia Foundation.
