Following an illness of two years, Burt Womack, 701 North Third street, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes, a step-son, Alfred Hicks, South Bend; daughter, Mrs. James Parks, Chicago; son Burt Womack, Jr., Benton Harbor; two grandchildren; brotehr, Patrick Womack, Elizabeth, Ind., a brother, Frank Womack, Manchester, Tenn.; a sister, Lena Morgan, Hillsboro, Tenn.
Womack, who was born on Dec. 6, 1895 came here from Tennessee 21 years ago, and has been employed as a salesman.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home until 12 noon Wednesday, when the body will be taken to the Methodist church, where services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. L. George Beacock officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
Womack was a member of the Moose lodge and the Eagle lodge.
