Mrs. Burdue Succumbs
Mrs. Mary Eliza Burdue, 84, 1414 Marion street, died at 11 p.m. yesterday in the Berrien county hospital where she had been ill since Nov. 15.
The body is at the Kiger funeral home. Services are incomplete awaiting arrival of a great-niece, Mrs. Hazel O'Dell Arman, Toledo, O., enroute from California. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
Mrs. Burdue was born Nov. 10, 1862, in Huron county, O. She married Oliver Burdue Oct. 4, 1876, and has lived in this community since. Her husband is deceased.

Hold Rites Tuesday
Services will be conducted on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Kiger funeral home for Mary Eliza Burdue, 1414 Marion street, who died May 15 at the Berrien county hospital.
Durlin Wheeler, reader of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, will conduct the rites, Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery. Arrangements had been postponed awaiting the arrival of a grand-niece from California.
