W.H. McLAUGHLIN, ILL A WEEK, DIES
Walter Hayes McLaughlin, 67, 218 Parkway, a resident of Niles 16 years, died this morning at 12:45 in Pawating hospital. He had been ill one week.
He was born May 20, 1875, in Lisbon, O., and came to Niles from Tennessee. He was employed by The Kawneer Company.
Surviving with his wife, the former Rose Blackburn, to whom he was married July 22, 1900, in Morrison, Tenn., are six children--George, Clifton and Ray McLaughlin and Mrs. Minnie Stickrod, all of Niles, Mrs. Alma Stroud, Buchanan; and Mrs. Helen Hoisington, Chicago Heights.

He also leaves two sisters and two brothers, Frank H. McLaughlin, Niles; Mrs. Mattie Sweeney, Tullahoma, Tenn.; and Mrs. Anna Kennedy, East Liverpool, O., and W.A. McLaughlin, Cushing, Okla., and 17 grandchildren.
Friends may call in the McLaughlin home until noon Tuesday when the body will be returned to the Pifer funeral home for services at 2. The Rev. Lehr, pastor of the Buchanan Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
