Mrs. Grace E. Hamel, 42, of 2632 Lake Shore Drive, died at 4:55 a.m. today in Pawating Hospital where she had been a patient since last Sunday.
Mrs. Hamel was born June 26, 1919, in Gould City and came to Niles in 1939.
Surviving are: her husband, Roger; two daughters, Miss Grace Hamel, South Bend, and Mrs. Mary Louise Heskett, 2632 Lake Shore Drive; her mother, Mrs. Gertrude Schroeder, Two Dott, Mont.,and a brother Harry Rosebush, 2419 Dick St.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Pifer Funeral Home wiih the Rev. John Marvin, minister of education of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Sunday.
