Mrs. Wohlrab, 76, Niles Resident 75 years, is Dead

 

Mrs. Bertha Wohlrab, a resident of Niles for 75 years, died this  morning at 2:25 in her home at 222 South Fifth Street, after a year's illness of complications.

She was born in Germany May 9, 1864 and was brought to America when she was six weeks old. She was married Jan. 29, 1882 in Niles to Rudolph Wohlrab, who died May 14, 1917.

A charter member  of Niles Hive No. 39 of the Maccabees, Mrs. Wohlrab was also a member of St.  John's Evangelical church.

She is survived by a daughter, . .[illegible]. . .son, John Wohlrab, Aurora, Ill.; three grandchildren, Miss Carlyon Wohlrab and Mrs. John Robson, Niles, and George Wohlrab, Joliet, Ill., and a great grandson, Jimmy Robson, Niles. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Augusta Koontz, Omaha, Nebr., and a brother, Henry Fleishauer, Everett, Wash.

Friends may call at the Wohlrab home where services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2. The Rev. Theo Eisen will officiate and burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
