Mrs. Ethel Seely, 86, of 1024 N. Fifth St., died at 3 a.m., today in the Dor-A-Lin Nursing Home, following a six-month's illness.
A life long area resident, Mrs. Seely was born in Cass County, March 23, 1882. Her husband, Clayton H., died on April 2, 1952.
She is survived by a brother, Floyd J. McCoy of Ledward, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Halbritter-Swem Funeral Home with the Rev. John R. Wyngarden, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Switchman's Union of North America.
Her survivors include a brother, Floyd J. McCoy of Ledyard, Iowa, nad several nieces and nephews.
