BERRIEN CENTER, Oct. 31--Mrs. Ida Rickard, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mable Huffman, at Berrien Center, died at 10 a.m. today in the Clear Lake Rest Haven. She had been ill since Sept. 6 of this year.
Also surviving are her sons, Walter, of Chicago, and William, who resides in Florida; 13 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie White, of Union City, N.J.
Mrs. Rickard was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan. 1, 1860, and came here in 1918.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. G.A. Steeby, pastor of the First Evangelical United Brethren church. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
