Nels A. Severson, 64, of 1619 Taft St., died Tuesday at 12:15 a.m., in Pawating Hospital.
Mr. Severson, an employe of Michigan Gas and Electric Company, was born March 14, 1902, in Ettrick, Wis. He came here from Eau Claire, Wis., and lived in Niles for 15 years.

His wife, Stella, one son, LeRoy Severson of Niles; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Anderson, of Hudson, Wis., Mrs. Marion Mathews of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Norma Cook of Eau Claire, and Mrs. Ardis Weston of Niles; one brother, Martin Severson of Ettrick; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Hjerlied of Blair, Wis., and Mrs. Hilma Erickson, also of Ettrick, and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. , Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theodore Laesch officiating. Burial will be at the Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
