Ernest Timm, 78, of 1720 North 11th Street, died at 6:35 p.m. Sunday in Pawating Hospital where he had been a patient since March 23. He had been in poor health for the past three years.
Mr. Timm, a retired tool and die maker, was born Feb. 26, 1880, in Niles and had lived in Lansing and Detroit prior to returning to the city 25 years ago to make his home.
Surviving are: his wife, Doris; a step-brother, George Wedel, of DeWitt, Mich., and two step-sisters, Mrs. Mollie Bogardus, of Vandercoog Lake, Mich., and Mrs. Zelaga Anderson, of Elkhart, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kiger-Halbritter Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Meussling, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ (Evangelical and Reformed), of which he was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
