MRS. TAUTPHAUS TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Wilhelmina Tautphaus, 77, formerly of Niles, died Wednesday morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Stewart Green in Mt. Clemens.
She was born in Evansville, Ind., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Munz. Her husband, the late Charles Tautphaus, was in business here from 1910 until his poor health forced the sale of his market at Tenth street and Broadway about eight years ago. He died three years later.
Two sons, Charles Tautphaus and George Tautphaus, died of disabilities suffered during World war I.
In addition to her daughter, in whose home she went to live a year ago., Mrs. Tautphaus is survived by three grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Henry Lardner. Mrs. Tautphaus was a member of the Presbyterian church in Niles.
Services will be held in the Rutherford funeral home at 2 Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

Tautphaus Funeral at 2 Saturday; Legionnaires Aid
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilhelmina Tautphaus, formerly of Niles, who died Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Stewart Green, in Mt. Clemens, will be conducted by the Rev. J.K. Hoffmaster in the Rutherford funeral home at 2 Saturday afternoon.
Members of the American Legion, of which Mrs. Tautphaus' late sons, Charles and George Tautphaus, were members, will serve as pallbearers.
