Henry Ambrose Davis, 92, a retired farmer, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at his home 1216 Phoenix St., after a week's illness.
He was born July 24, 1869, in Decatur, and spent most of his life in the Niles area. He was married Nov. 27, 1890, in Niles to the former Wilhelmina Miller, who died in 1957.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Koons, 110 N. 5th St., several grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Vetter, 512 Union St.
Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home, where Dr. Maurice McKean, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will conduct services at 3 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
