Clarence E. Haight, 75, 2014 Bertrand Road, died at 6 a.m., today in the Fuller Rest Home at Eau Claire. He had been in ill health since 1950.
He was born in Hastings on April 13, 1885 and moved to Niles in 1939.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; three sons, Maurice of California, Donald of Middleville and Kenneth of Grand Rapids; a daughter, Mrs. Clancy Tift of Hastings; a brother, Roy of Hastings; a sister, Mrs. Rosebella Jacobson of Grand Rapids, and five grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at the Kiger and Halbritter Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon D. Everett, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
