Mrs. Minnie Young

Mrs. Minnie Young, 79, of 203 1/2 E. Main St., died suddenly early today. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Pawating Hospital at 2:50 a.m.
Mrs. Young was born May 30, 1884, in Germany. She came to Niles from Dennin, Ind., in 1915. Her husband, Charles, died July 10, 1955.
Survivors include three sons, Henry Shedrow, Niles, William Shedrow, Knox, Ind., and Elmer Shedrow, Morocco, Ind.; a daughter Mrs. Elmer Spangler, Albion; a brother, William Wruck, Niles; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Engel and Mrs. Elsie Lind, both of Winamac, Ind., Mrs. Elizabeth Carlson, Chicago, and Mrs. Thomas Flick, Niles; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the New Apostolic Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in her church. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends are being received at the Kiger Funeral Home.
