Death claims Mrs. M. Beall
Body will be brought to Niles from South Bend for burial Saturday.
Mrs. L. J. Krell received word this afternoon of the death of Mrs. Melvina Beall, which occurred this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Broderick (Viva Beall) in South Bend. Mrs. Beall’s death followed a prolonged illness, during which her life was despaired of many times.The funeral services will be held in South Bend Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The body will be brought to Niles for burial in Silver Brook Cemetery.
Mrs. Beall was 74 years of age. She formerly resided for many years on a farm on Lake Street and was highly esteemed in the community. She is survived by one daughter, and by one son, also by two sisters, Mrs. Emma Duffy of Chicago and Mrs. Mary Beall of Bay City. Hardy Langston of this city is a nephew of the deceased. The late Mr. Beall was a brother of S.S. Beall of West Niles.Mrs. Krell, who numbered Mrs. Beall among her intimate old friends, will go to South Bend tomorrow.
