Monthly Meetings
The Friends of Silverbrook Cemetery meet the third Thursday each month at 7 p.m. at the Niles Law Enforcement Center, located at Main St and Silverbrook Ave.
In addition to discussing progress made with our restoration and education projects, we feature a Guest Speaker. Past speakers have given talks about the history of Niles, gravestone restoration, and biographies of leading citizens. Many of our members also have interests in genealogy and local history. Members, nonmembers, and guests are always welcome to attend at no cost.

The next meeting of the FRIENDS OF SILVERBROOK will be held on THURSDAY, September 15, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Niles Law Enforcement Complex, 1600 Silverbrook Ave., Niles, MI 49120.
There are always new projects to plan and old ones to discuss! Meetings are open to the public and prospective members and volunteers are always welcome!

The Christmas Holidays are a busy time for all! The Friends of Silverbrook will not meet in December.
The regular meetings--the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.--will resume in January! Next meeting January 20, 2022, at 7 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center.

Due to coronovirus precautions, we will not be meeting at the Law Enforcement complex. However, we will meet at the cemetery, keeping at least six feet away from each other.
We will meet in front of the Abbey near the circle of flags and the cannon at 7 p.m. on Thursday September 17. Be sure to bring your own lawn chairs as we plan to talk for an hour. There are no bathroom facilities.
It will be nice to see everyone and get caught up.
If the weather makes it impossible for us to meet that day, we will have a Zoom meeting instead. If you would like to be invited to a Zoom call in that case, email webmaster@friendsofsilverbrook.org and we will send you the link to the conference call.
