Carl F. Ream, 81, of 1420 US-31 North, who for many years operated his own truck garden in this community, died at 11:10 p.m. Sunday in his home. He had been in failing health.
Mr. Ream was born Feb. 8, 1877, in Niles, and had lived here all his life. He was married March 24, 1897, to Nellie May Webber, who preceded him in Death on Dec. 16, 1943. The couple had been married for 54 years.
Surviving are: two daughters, Miss Irene M. Ream and Mrs. Leslie Boulton, both of Niles.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Pifer Funeral Home here with the Rev. John MacLachlan, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
