Mervin L. Morros, Sr., 57, of 1323 Sheridan Avenue, lifelong resident of this community, died at 6 a.m. Today in Pawating Hospital where he was admitted at 5:45 a.m.
Mr. Morros was born July 31, 1900, in Niles and had worked as an inspector at National-Standard Company here. Surviving are: his wife Esther A.: a daughter, Mrs. William Moneysmith, of Niles; a son, Mervin Morros, Jr., of Niles; one grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Wilbur Lundy, of Dowagiac, and a brother, Frank W. Morros, of Harper, Tex.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Pifer Funeral Home here with the Rev. Herbert Meussling, pastor of St. John's United church of Christ (Evangelical and Reformed), officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Tuesday.
