The Remains of the Late Edward Cady Laid to Their Final Repose.

The funeral of the late Edward Cady occurred from the late residence on Front street this morning at which time the service was conducted by Rev. Lowrie, to the presence of a large number of the relatives and friends of the esteemed, deceased pioneer settler.  Mr. and Mrs. John Hamilton, and Mrs. W.R. Bunbury, rendered the following vocal selections:  “It is Well With my soul.” “Lead Kindly Light,” and the most beautiful of all, “We'll Never Say Good-Bye in Heaven.”

The services concluded, the funeral cortege wended hits way slowly to Silver Brook cemetery where interment was made.
