NILES -- Melvin R. Williams, 67, of 2118 Miller Dr., died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in Pawating Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sunday.
A retired repairman for Bendix Corporation, Mr. Williams was born May 10, 1902 in Cedar Bluff, Neb., and had lived here since 1950, coming from Buchanan. He married the former Lucile P(illegible), who survives, on Sept. 24, 1929, in Central City, Mich.
