Funeral services for John W. Lambert, 74, 251 Cass St., Niles, are Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Pifer-Smith Funeral Home in Niles. Burial will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles.
Lambert died Monday at 7:10 a.m. At Berrien General Hospital after a four-week illness.
Born June 7, 1916, in Niles, he was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a retired employee of Garden City Cleaners.
Lambert was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by three daughters, Laurel Hughes of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Judy Hughes and Patti Hughes of Cedar Grove, New Mexico; a son, John Lambert of Catlin, Ill.; a sister, Florence Gleason of Ellenton, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral on Monday.
