William S. Cruse, 82, of 314 W. Main St., died at 11:01 p.m. Thursday in Pawating Hospital, where he had been admitted three hours earlier.
Mr. Cruse was born Aug. 24, 1881, in Chicago. He came to Niles from there 18 years ago.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ada Berry, Niles, and Mrs. Margaret Sourile, Chicago.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Pifer Funeral Home. Dr. Maurice McKean, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
