MILLARD FUNERAL TUESDAY


The body of Edward G. Millard, 59, was  brought to Niles this afternoon from Glendora, Calif., where he died on Feb. 27, and was taken to the Rutherford Funeral home where the funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Metzler, pastor of the Church of Brethern of Nappannee[sic], Ind., will officiate. Burial will be made in Silver Brook cemetery. Mr. Miller had made his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank May, R.R. 1, east of Barron lake until last October when he went to California for the benefit of his health.  He is survived by eight children who are Atlee Millard, Clayton Anglemeyer and Mrs. Nora Kronk, Nappanee, Ind., Lester Millard, Indianapolis, Harold and Carol Millard of Elkhart, Ind., Mrs. Nettie Thomas, residing south of Niles near the state line and Mrs. Frank May of Niles. The deceased was a member of the Moose lodge at St. Joseph, Mo. and the Niles lodge. Besides the children 10 grand children and one great grandchild survives.

Niles News in Brief: FUNERAL E.G. MILLARD

Funeral services for Edward G. Millard whose body was brought t Niles on Monday afternoon from Glendora, Calif., were held this morning. The Rev. Metzler, pastor of the Church of the Brethern in Nappanee, Ind., officiated. Burial was made in Silver Brook cemetery. The Niles lodge of Moose assisted in the services. Before going to California last October, Mr. Millard made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Frank May, who resides east of Barron Lake.
