NILES--Carl H. Smith, 75, of 1307 Wayne St., died at 8 a.m Saturday at his home.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, the church choir, the Senior Citizens, an honorary member of the United Steel Workers of America, and a retired employee of the National-Standard Co.

Mr. Smith was born Oct. 10, 1904 in Kenosha, Wis., and had lived here since 1915, coming from Wisconsin.

On April 10, 1942 in Niles, he married Maude M. Regenos, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Richard Lucas, of Lansing; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Thomas, Mrs. Alice Craw, and Mrs. Shirley Daly, all of Niles; a sister Mrs. Adeline Sullivan of Las Vegas, Nev.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Paul A. Fisher officiating.  Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.

Friends are calling at the Halbritter Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly fo God Church Building Fund.
