Clarence Willyard, 74, of Edwardsburg, died at 5 p.m. Sunday in Kalamazoo. .[illegible]. . He had been in poor health for about four years.

Born June 5, 1882,, he moved to Edwardsburg about 34 years ago from Saginaw. He was a retired laborer and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donald Eaton, of Edwardsburg, and Mrs. Norman Baird, of Niles, six grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Willyard, of Johannesburg, Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Apshire, of New Braunfels, Tex., and Mrs. Lois Allison, of Boyne City, Mich.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the Pifer Funeral Home, Niles, with the Rev. Chester Wetzel, assistant pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
