Carrie Hurlbut, 72, Resident of Niles 14 Years, Stricken
Mrs. Carrie Hurlbut, 72, of 717 North Third street, died this morning in the Berrien county hospital, after an illness of three years. Mrs. Hulbut was born Aug. 6, 1869 at Kirklin, Ind., and came to Niles about 14 years ago from Culver, Ind.
Mrs. Hurlbut leaves her husband, Joseph E.; one son, Charles Barker, Niles; one sister, Mrs. William Tatman, Bertrand; and one brother, Thomas Carmack, Frankfort, Ind.
Friends may call at the Price and Kiger chapel, where services will be held at 2 Monday. The Rev. J. Kenneth Hoffmaster will officiate.
