Obituary

    Rev. James Thomas Richardson 523 Cushing street, South Bend, died Monday after an illness of three years.  The immediate cause of his death was bronchitis.  He was 77 years old and had been a resident of South Bend for the last five years, coming from Bay City, Mich.
    For some years he had been retired from the ministry.  Rev. Mr. Richardson was born in Truxton, N.Y., June 5, 1836.  He married Mary E. Clark of Niles, Dec. 21, 1859.  He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Richardson, and daughter, Mrs. S. J. Morgan, of South Bend.
    The funeral was private, from the South Bend residence at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. F.K. Dougherty of the Grace M.E. church conducted the services. The burial took place in Silver Brook cemetery, this city .  Arrangements were made for the party to leave South Bend on the 3 o'clock interurban car, reaching here at 3:26 this afternoon.
