Funeral services for Hilda Malomboza, 30, of 703 N. Red Bud Trail, Apt. 1, Buchanan, are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pioneer Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church with the Rev. Jaspine Bilima, of Pioneer Memorial, officiating.
Burial will follow at Bertrand* Cemetery.
Malomboza died at 8:20 a.m. Saturday at Bronson Methodist Hospital following an extended illness.
Born May 27, 1962, in Blantyre, Malawi, she had been a resident of this area since1987, coming from Malawi, South Africa.
She was a college student at Lake Michigan College.
Survivors include her parents, Rodney and Sarapia Malomboza of Malawi; seven sisters, Doreen Malomboza of Buchanan, Flora Chitckwe of Niles, Mable Malomboza of South Africa, Mercy Nseula of Malawi, Gladys Whayo of Malawi, Gloria Kamanga of Botwana[sic], South Africa and two brothers, George Malomboza of Zambia, South Africa, and Mphatso Malomboza of Malawi, South Africa.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to Tuesday's services.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Halbritter Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hilda Malomboza Memorial Fund.
