NILES--David Ramsey, 57, of 316 Roberts St., died at 5:30 a.m. today in his home, after an extended illness.

A retired construction worker, Mr. Ramsey was born Jan. 30, 1913, in Whitney County, Ind., and had lived here for 28 years coming from South Bend. On June 12, 1944 in St. Joseph, he married the former Emma Shriner, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, LaFreem Keith of South Bend; two half-brothers, Russel Kissinger of Osceola, Ind. and Keith Kissinger of Columbia City, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Bolles of Chicago and Mrs. Ethel Mead, Mrs. Helen Fulford and Mrs. Beatrice Yantz, all of Columbia city, Ind. and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today in the Pifer Funeral Home, with burial in Silverbrook Cemetery.
