Funeral services for Bertha E. Zechlin, 94, of 1215 Sycamore St., Niles will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Halbritter Funeral Home by the Rev. Louie J. Schweppe of St. John's United Church of Christ.
Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Mrs. Zechlin died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Detroit Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 23, 1896, in Niles. She had lived here most of her life, moving to Detroit in Nune, 1998.
On May 18, 1918, in Niles, she married Frank Zechlin, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1984.
Survivors include a brother, William Schneider of Niles, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Halbritter Funeral Home.
