NILES--Mrs. Rose A. Truesdell, 91, formerly of 1455 Sycamore St., died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at the Michigan Skilled Care Center, following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 13, 1886, in Chicago and had lived here since 1913, coming from Chicago. On Dec. 31, 1906, in Chicago, she married Elmer Fred Truesdell, who died Nov. 22, 1962.
Survivors include two sons, Fayette and Patrick D., both of Niles; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m .Friday at the Halbritter Funeral Home with Mrs. Ezra Castle, reader with the First Church of Christ-Scientist officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m .Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Niles Community Library Memorial Fund.
