WEISER RITES SATURDAY
Jacob C. Weiser, rural route four, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Pawating hospital, following poor health for the past year.
He is survived by his son, Claude, South Bend; one brother, Edward, Niles; a sister, Mrs. James Haskill, Chicago Heights.
The decedent, who was born on April 7, 1882, in Bertrand township, has been a life-long resident of the area, and was employed by the Niles Creamery for 23 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Pifer funeral home, with the Rev. G.A. Steeby, pastor of the First Evangelical and Reformed church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
