Mrs. Gipsie Wozniak

Mrs. Gipsie Wozniak, 88, of 1356 Sheridan St., Niles, died at 5:55 p.m. Monday in Pawating Hospital following an illness of one month.
She was born on March 23, 1894 in Owenton, Ky. and had lived here since 1936.
Mrs. Wozniak was a retired nurses' aid who had worked at Healthwin Hospital. She was a member of the First Church of Christ--Christian.
She had married Robert Schneider in 1913 in Newport, Ky. He died in 1950. She then married Matthew Wozniak in 1954. He died in 1956.
Survivors include a daughter , Mrs. Wilbur (Shirley) Nevill of Niles; a sister, Mrs. Tom (Ida) Thompson of Niles; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Robert Schneider, and a daughter, Bernadine Schneider, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m Thursday at the Pifer-Smith Funeral Home in Niles. Rev. Russell Ross of the First Church of Christ--Christian, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
