Clarence J. Vetter, 61, of 512 Union street, chief inspector for the New York Central Railroad here for 35 years, died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday at Pawating Hospital following an illness of six years.

Vetter was born in Niles Township April 30, 1892, and lived here his entire life. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church here and past master and secretary of the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are: his wife, Bernice; two sons, Gale, College Station, Tex.,and Donald, San Juan, Puerto Rico; a brother, Frank, South Bend, and one grandchild.

Funeral serivces[sic] will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. John G. Carlton, rector, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home.
