Carrie Young, 79, Life Resident of Niles Area, Dies

Miss Carrie Young, 79, of 404 Michigan street, died Saturday afternoon at 12:30 in the home of her nephew, Clifford Young, the only surviving relative, who lives west of Buchanan.  She had been ill five months.

Born in Niles township March 21, 1864, she had lived all her life in this vicinity. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 in the Price and Kiger funeral home. The Rev. J. Kenneth Hoffmaster, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

PALLBEARERS

Harry, John and Norris Young, and Claude Harger, served as pallbearers at the funeral for Miss Carrie Young, 404 Michigan street, who died Saturday Afternoon. Services were conducted in the Price and Kiger funeral chapel at 2 today by the Rev. J. Kenneth Hoffmaster and burial was in Silverbrook cemetery.
