Funeral services of Iden Ward Logan, 84, of Watervliet, formerly of Niles, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kiger Funeral Home.  The Rev. John P. MacLachlan, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.

He died at 2:05 a.m. today in Watervliet Community Hospital, following an illness of several years.

Mr. Logan was born Feb. 23, 1879 in Plymouth, Ind. He came to Niles from there in 1906, serving as a police officer here for a time before moving to Watervliet.  His wife, Edna, died in 1913.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lewis Walton, Traverse City, and Mrs. Jack Miller, Etna Green, Ind.; a son, Harold Logan, Ann Arbor; and five grandchildren.

He was a member of St. Joseph Valley Lodge No. 4, Order of Free and Accepted Masons.

Friends are being received at the funeral  home.
