Lillian G. Mitchell

Mrs. Lillian G. Mitchell, 73, of 612 N. 4th St., died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Buchanan Community Hospital, where she had been a patient two days.
Mrs. Mitchell was born May 15, 1890, in Escambia Bay, Fla. She came to Niles from Texas two years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ethel E. Wilkes, Niles; a sister, Mrs. Fairy Whitney, Willoughby, Ohio; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Pifer Funeral Home. Dr. Maurice McKean, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
