    Charles Andrew Taylor, Sr., 66, of 1237 Rose Dr., Niles, died Sunday  at 4:24 p.m. suddenly and was pronounced dead on arrival at Pawating Hospital after a sudden illness.
    Born Aug. 13, 1916 in Vancouver, British Colombia, he had been a resident of the area for five years, coming from Park Forest, Ill.  He was retired in 1977 from Clark Equipment Company where he had been employed as a marketing manager.
    On Feb. 13, 1947 in Niles, he was married to the former Ferne L. Feather, who survives.  Two sons, Charles A. Taylor, Jr., of Buchanan and David E. Taylor of Chicago Heights, Ill.; and a daughter, Miss Loretta Taylor of Coloma, survive along with seven grandchildren. Two brothers also survive, Sturdervant S. Taylor of Alexandria, Ind., and Alfred Taylor of Grand Rapids.
    Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pifer-Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Richard C. Kuhn of Faith United Methodist Church of Buchanan, officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Pifer-Smith Funeral Home in Buchanan.
