    Harry O. Jackson, 82, 1108 Hickory, died at 2:59 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital in South Bend after an extended illness.
    He was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired employee of Niles Lumber Co.
    Born April 28, 1901, in Emmettsburg, Iowa, he lived here since 1937, coming from Nelson, Neb.  On Aug., 23, 1901[sic], in Clay Center, Neb., he married Gladys W. Peery, who survives.
    Also surviving are two grandchildren, Mrs. Linda VanDePutte and Robert E. Jackson, both of Niles.
    Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Halbritter Funeral Home with Rev. Ray C. Cunningham of First Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
    Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
